• Slashers had a shaky start 10/3 due to some good bowling by Knights | |
• Srikant and Saurabh put on a good partnership and bailed the Slashers out of trouble reaching 50 in 6 overs before Srikant held out in the deep to a good catch from Venkat. | |
• Saurabh played an aggressive knock with five boundaries and a six to top score with 63 while Azeem and Vik chipped in with useful knocks and some big hitting to take the score onto a respectable 146. | |
• Knights started well with Venkata Reddy scoring with some aggressive shots but were pulled back in the third over with the score reading 27/1. Srikant and Vijay bowled an excellent spell giving nothing away as the Knights tried to accelerate. | |
• Rajiv Binwade looked to take the fight to the slashers with some big hitting before he was bowled off Aseem. Akshay bowled a sharp second spell getting two wickets in an over and the Knights never really recovered to chase the target. |
